I have: the Jack Davis (MAD Magazine) "Long Goodbye" poster, a cryptic Polish "Weekend at Bernie's" poster, the Chris Ware "Uncle Boonmee" poster, and I'm eyeing the "Swimming to Cambodia" poster in the bookshop near my house that's going out of business.

All very good. I’d kill for that Swimming to Cambodia one.

Okay, if we're doing this... I have The Thing, Close Encounters (the first film my mum and dad let me stay up to watch the end of when I was a kid), Darkman (Liam Neeson's greatest role?), an original Hot Rock poster (this version with the tiny Zero Mostel picture at the bottom https://filmartgallery.com/products/the-hot-rock-9137), and two of the posters for the fake Rick Dalton movies from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

If I see a Darkman poster in a house I’m shaking that person’s hand.

Loved this one dude. I have zero (0) movie posters and way too many music ones. Wife and I have recently taken on a “fuck streaming TV” stance, focusing on movies instead. I put a few classics I’ve not seen which you note here in our watchlist. Maybe I’ll hit eBay after falling for one of them.

We don’t have any movie posters up at our new place yet. I do have a diptych in my office: a print of the sleeve art from Sparks’ album Angst in My Pants and a portrait of the Baltimore home recording artist Linda Smith on patrol at her museum job https://www.mattrothphoto.com/image?&_bqG=18&_bqH=eJwLKi8vDzV0z7GMjAowqjILMcjziS8284woSvK1MjK2MjQwAGEg6RnvEuxs65OZl5KoHZybWZKhBhaJd_RzsS0BskODXYPiPV1sQ0Gq88pTcyJ8i40N8rLV4h2dQ2yLUxOLkjMAJYAhrQ--&GI_ID=

They look like they’re in conversation with one another.

My aunt and uncle, who hosted a party for family every Christmas Eve, had a Humphrey Bogart-themed den with posters of Casablanca, Key Largo, & The African Queen. The fascinating thing was that I never once heard them bring up Humphrey Bogart.

I have a poster from the 2003 special edition re-release of Alien that was gifted to me by my in-laws hanging over my desk. Same poster as the 1979 original, with slightly different text, but it’s not a replica like all our other movie posters.

Our replicas are pretty cool though. I have the Hong Kong Star Wars poster in my home office (https://www.theoriginalunderground.com/products/hong-kong-star-wars-poster?variant=35015428898950), and my husband has this version of the 2001: A Space Odyssey 70mm poster (https://www.movieposters.com/products/2001-a-space-odyssey-mpw-129038?gclid=CjwKCAjwp6CkBhB_EiwAlQVyxbnoM0cbEg_n-2tZNY2ZuwGng3BR8V027m6ZIUXknsCaLr0bzdm6OxoCGWYQAvD_BwE) and this version of the Kiki’s Delivery Service poster (https://filmartgallery.com/products/kikis-delivery-service) in his own home office.

I’ve had a few others in my college dorm rooms; I think my favorite was the poster for Joss Whedon’s Serenity.
